Rylance 'delighted' with Tony award

Actor Mark Rylance picked up his third Tony Award on Sunday night for his role as Olivia in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

It was a good night for British actors, Sophie Okonedo won best female for her performance in A Raisin in the Sun.

However it was US Actress Audra McDonald's night as she picked up her sixth Tony Award for her role as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.

Tony voters include voting members of The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
