Oscars 2014: Red carpet rolled out Los Angeles gets ready

The 86th Academy Awards take place on Sunday which means the red carpet has been rolled out and the nominees are preparing their thank you speeches.

After picking up top awards at the Golden Globes and Baftas, 12 Years A Slave - with its British director and star - is tipped to come away with an Oscar or two.
