Shia LaBeouf Nymphomaniac co-stars support bag stunt

Co-stars of US actor Shia LaBeouf say they support him after he wore a paper bag over his head at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this month.

He also walked out of the festival's news conference for director Lars von Trier's new film, Nymphomaniac.

LaBeouf left after 10 minutes, quoting footballer Eric Cantona's famous 1995 line: "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea."

However, his co-stars Stellan Skarsgard and Stacy Martin have defended his actions as "totally fine" and "hilarious".
