Director Steve McQueen on his Bafta hopes

Steve McQueen says he is "grateful to the public" for the success of 12 Years a Slave.

The movie is believed to be the frontrunner for the best film at this year's Baftas and is up for a total of ten awards.

McQueen spoke to the BBC's Lizo Mzimba on the red carpet.
