Lou Reed fans pay tribute with a wake on the wild Side

4 November 2013 Last updated at 13:57 GMT

Lou Reed fans attended a wake in a North London Church at the weekend to pay tribute to the musician who died last week.

Organiser Stefan Simanowitz said free tickets to the wake had been taken up in less than 48 hours.

A band replaced a choir, his own lyrics were read as eulogies and images of Reed watched over his fans as they cycled through a projector cast on a chapel wall.
