Canadian author Alice Munro has won this year's Nobel Prize for Literature.

The Swedish Academy, which chooses the award's winners, described Munro as "a Canadian Chekhov".

The BBC's Arts Editor (and self-confessed Alice Munro fan) Will Gompertz talks to BBC World's George Alagiah about the honour.
