Glasgow retrospective 'emotional' says Jack Vettriano

19 September 2013 Last updated at 10:57 BST

Artist Jack Vettriano is to have a major exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow, looking back at the past 20 years of his painting career.

Completely self-taught, Vettriano's prints outsell Dali, Monet and Van Gogh, but it is the first time a retrospective is planned of his work.

He said it was "thrilling" to trace his own journey as a painter.
