Franz Ferdinand: "Fame is baffling and exciting"

Indie rockers Franz Ferdinand have spoken about the delay between their last album and their latest, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action.

Singer Alex Kapranos told BBC Breakfast that the gap probably "seemed bigger from the outside" as the band followed their last album with a long world tour.

He and guitarist Nick McCarthy also discussed the "baffling and exciting" nature of fame.
