Inside Serbia's dormant museums

27 August 2013 Last updated at 00:31 BST

Fans of art in Serbia have suffered since the global economic downturn began, as two of the country's main museums have been closed for several years.

Belgrade's Museum of Contemporary Art has not reopened since it shut its doors for renovation works in 2007.

Meanwhile, Serbia's National Museum has been shrouded in scaffolding and tarpaulins for more than a decade.

Museum of Contemporary Art director Branka Andjelkovic showed Guy Delauney around the dormant galleries and spoke about her hopes for the future.
