David Coverdale hearing loss 'trade off'

David Coverdale, the founding member of Whitesnake and only musician to have remained in the rock band since 1978, says he now suffers from some hearing loss.

The frontman, who started the band after leaving Deep Purple, told BBC Breakfast that his hearing loss is a "trade off" for a successful career.
