Patti Smith in Bronte tribute gig


She has been dubbed the 'godmother of US punk' but on Friday night Patti Smith was paying tribute to English literary heritage.

The US artist was in Haworth, Yorkshire, to play a fundraising concert for the Bronte society, which runs a museum dedicated to Charlotte and Emily's books.

The BBC's Colin Paterson went to meet her.
