Leviathan: Film-makers on an unconventional documentary
The documentary Leviathan portrays life on board a fishing vessel in the North Atlantic but it contains no interviews, little meaningful dialogue and no clear narrative arc.
Yet it does have potent sounds and images and it has been winning rave reviews on the festival circuit in Europe and North America.
Talking Movies' Tom Brook reports.
Talking Movies is broadcast on BBC World News on Saturday at 13:30 GMT and Sunday at 00:30, 07:30 and 20:30 GMT.
