New album of unreleased Hendrix material a hit
40 years after his death a new album of previously unreleased material is putting Jimi Hendrix back on top of the charts.
The new album 'People, Hell and Angels' came out yesterday and the single 'Somewhere' has already reached number one on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart in the US.
John McDermott was one of the producers on the new album and told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast that the album shows Hendrix treating every song 'as a specific work in its own right'.
