British broadcaster Jonathan Ross spoke about his favourite games ahead of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) Games Awards.
He told the BBC's Daniel Emery, that the event was putting a positive spotlight on something that has 'suffered negativity and easy dismisiveness'.
More than 50 games are competing for 18 awards at this year's ceremony in London.
