Nicole Kidman has told BBC Breakfast that her Oscar win in 2003 for her role as Virginia Woolf in The Hours collided with a painful time in her life.
Ten years on, the Australian actress says she is a "work in progress" and is coming to terms with being "awkwardly shy".
