Preparations for the Oscars begin

The 85th Academy Awards - the Oscars - take place on Sunday.

There has been a lot of speculation that it could be a big night for Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, with Daniel Day Lewis a favourite to win Best Actor.

Ben Affleck's Argo is also hotly tipped for a golden statue, after it won Best Picture at the Baftas.

The BBC's Tim Muffett is in Los Angeles as Hollywood prepares for its biggest night of the year.
