Rowan Atkinson returns to the West End stage
Rowan Atkinson, star of Blackadder, has returned to the West End stage to star in Quartermaine's Terms - Simon Gray's play about teachers at an English language school.
He told Radio Four's Front Row: "I don't like the idea of just having a stab at things."
"I'd like to play any part that I feel as though I could play well," he added.
The play's director, Richard Eyre, said that the Mr Bean actor could star in "almost anything".
You can hear the full interview with Rowan Atkinson and Sir Richard Eyre on Radio 4's Front Row at 19:15 GMT on 30 January.
