Dick Van Dyke on cockney accent and lifetime achievement award
Dick Van Dyke has collected a lifetime achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild in Los Angeles.
Best known for his role as a chimney sweep in Mary Poppins, the actor began his career as a radio announcer in the 1940s.
He told BBC Radio 5 live Up All Night what his career highlights were, and spoke about that cockney accent.
