Gosling, Stone and Penn at Gangster Squad premiere in LA
The stars of Gangster Squad have taken to the red carpet for the film's premiere in Los Angeles.
Sean Penn, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were among those in attendance.
Gosling, who brought his mother to the screening, described his on-screen character as "much cooler and braver than me."
