Female authors top 2012 fiction bestseller list
Fiction titles by female authors have topped the 2012 bestseller list, with EL James's 50 Shades trilogy taking the top three spots.
James has sold a combined total of 12m copies of her 50 Shades books.
2012 also saw success for Hilary Mantel, winning an historic second Man Booker Prize for her follow up to Wolf Hall, Bring Up the Bodies.
