Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children is adapted for film
A cinema adaptation of the Booker Prize-winning novel by Salman Rushdie, Midnight's Children, will be released in Europe on Wednesday.
Directed by Canadian-Indian director Deepa Mehta, the film revolves around Saleem Sinai, who is born on the night India gains independence.
