Les Miserables stars at New York premiere
Hollywood actors Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman were on the red carpet for the premiere of Les Miserables.
Jackman, who plays Jean Valjean, and Crowe, who plays Javert, heaped praise on the transformation of the musical onto the big screen.
Anne Hathaway said playing the role of Fantine, a sickly mother forced into prostitution, was both "surreal and wonderful".
