Alanis Morissette: Motherhood inspires latest album
Multi-award winning singer, Alanis Morissette has released her eighth album, Havoc and Bright Lights, which was mainly recorded in her living room.
The singer told BBC Breakfast how the album had been inspired by her life and role as a new mother.
She explained the lines of some of her lyrics, including "I am a tattooed sexy dancing monkey, just aloof enough to get you to want me", which she said refers to egos to become famous.
