Stars twinkle as Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is lit up
Thousands of people took to the streets around the Rockefeller Center in New York on Wednesday night to watch its annual tree-lighting ceremony.
Onlookers were serenaded by Rod Stewart, Cee Lo Green and The Muppets before the lights were switched on illuminating the tree's more than 30,000 lights.
