Exhibition of Valentino dresses celebrates designer's career

The life and work of the fashion designer Valentino, who has made dresses for stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Julia Roberts, is being celebrated in a new exhibition at Somerset House in London.

More than 130 hand-crafted creations are on display for the first time in the UK.

Sophie van Brugen was given a preview by Valentino, who revealed he would love to design a dress for the Duchess of Cambridge.
