Ray Davies' gives 'world premiere' live performance
Former lead singer of The Kinks, Ray Davies, has revealed that he turned anger into song in the 1970s as "the world was changing".
"It was the only ammunition I had to fight with," Davies told John Wilson during his Radio 4 series Mastertapes.
He also gave a "world premiere" performance of the 1971 track Here Come The People in Grey - which he says The Kinks never performed live.
