Javier Bardem gets star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Spanish film star Javier Bardem has been honoured with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
The Academy Award winner thanked directors such as Bigas Luna and Julian Schnabel, who had "taken a chance" on him.
Skyfall director, Sam Mendes, who joined a number of the film's stars at the ceremony, paid tribute to Bardem's work on the Bond film, describing him as "our [Marlon] Brando, our [Richard] Burton for this generation".
