R2-D2 actor 'pleased' at news of new Star Wars films
The actor who played R2-D2 has welcomed plans to release three new Star Wars films.
Disney Studios is buying the company behind the franchise, Lucasfilm, for $4.05bn (£2.5bn).
Disney plans to release a new Star Wars film, episode seven, in 2015.
Speaking to the BBC from his home in Preston, Kenny Baker, explained the films' enduring appeal and said he still gets global fan mail.
