London Bicycle Festival celebrates cycle culture
The London Bicycle Film Festival has begun, at a time of growing interest in cycling around the world.
Bike sales in the UK have increased by 15 per cent, and figures show that Italians bought more bicycles than cars in 2011.
The festival covers 25 cities worldwide and celebrates the urban cycling movement, with its emphasis on art, fashion and high-spec bikes.
Howard Johnson reports.
