Kerouac's On The Road makes 'long journey' to film

More than half a century after its publication, Jack Kerouac's classic novel On The Road has been made into a film.

The book came to define the post-war Beat generation of poets and artists.

Directed by Brazilian film-maker Walter Salles, the movie stars Kristen Stewart and British actor Sam Riley.

The BBC's Emma Jones reports.
