Philip Glenister takes on 70's Westminster in This House
If politicians now think they have a tough time of it, maybe they should count themselves lucky they weren't around thirty odd years ago.
There were fist fights in the bars and sick MPs were carried into the Commons to vote, all of which is the subject of new play This House at the National Theatre in London.
Actor Philip Glenister spoke to the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, and said he was used to playing 1970's "brutes".
This House, National Theatre, runs until 1 December
