Artist creates 'House to Die In'
One of Norway's most important contemporary artists has collaborated with the architects of the 9/11 memorial in New York to create what he describes as a "House to Die In".
Bjarne Melgaard has worked with Norwegian architects Snohetta to create a new house which the artist will eventually live and work in.
Now London's Institute of Contemporary Arts is hosting Melgaard's first solo UK show - including a full-sized replica of part of his planned house.
The show will also include artworks that will eventually go on the walls inside - made by Melgaard with a group of amateur artists, many of whom have been recovering from mental illness.
Bjarne Melgaard: A House to Die In is on show with talks at the ICA from 25 September 2012 - 18 November 2012.
Video journalist: Rachel Curtis.
