Stars gather for Marvin Hamlisch memorial service
Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin and Liza Minnelli have performed songs by Marvin Hamlisch at a memorial service for the late composer.
Streisand, a friend of Hamlisch for 45 years, sang The Way We Were, one of his best-known songs.
Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Sarah Jessica Parker were among the guests at New York's Juilliard School for the Arts, where Hamlisch studied.
Actress Emily Fletcher said: "It was an honour to get to pay tribute to such an incredible composer."
