Elbow: Guy Garvey says Olympic closing song 'like an old friend'

Mercury award-winning band Elbow created the anthem for the BBC's Olympics coverage.

They also performed their hit One Day Like This in front of a TV audience of more than 26 million while athletes entered the stadium at the Olympics closing ceremony.

Lead singer Guy Garvey told BBC Breakfast his iconic song felt like an old friend now.
