Portland Vase replica on display in Stourbridge
A modern replica of one of the ancient world's most beautiful works of art is to go on display in the West Midlands town of Stourbridge.
The Portland Vase was carved using two layers of different coloured glass - a technique called cameo decoration.
The copy has been made to showcase the skills of the few remaining glassmakers still working in the town, which was once world-famous for its glass industry.
Nick Higham reports.
