The veteran lead singer of The Kinks has described the performers' nerves and backstage atmosphere during Sunday's Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Ray Davies performed at the event shortly after returning from a concert in Japan.
He spoke to BBC Breakfast about suffering microphone problems moments before taking to the stage and his fears about getting his own lyrics wrong.
