Russell Brand's Olympic closing ceremony philosophy
Russell Brand has told 5 live's Richard Bacon that the Olympic closing ceremony was more than just a spectacle.
The comedian said that it was not a time to be sad that the Games were over, but to celebrate the sense of "community and love" that they represented.
Mr Brand featured in the closing ceremony on top of a multi-coloured bus.
