Bob Marley day declared in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles City Council has declared a special day in honour of the Jamaican reggae star, Bob Marley.
The musician's eldest son, Ziggy Marley, attended the ceremony and celebrated the day with family.
He said his father would be happy to be recognised by a "wide spectrum of society".
