Help

Once a decade hundreds of the world's leading cinema critics are asked to cast their vote in a poll to decide "The Greatest Film of all Time".

For the past 50 years there has been only one winner: Orson Welles's 1940s masterpiece Citizen Kane.

But on Wednesday, Sight and Sound magazine revealed the results of the latest vote, and the prestigious title has changed hands.

Will Gompertz reports.
