London accordionist plays with Colombian hero at Proms
It is the dream of many young musicians to play alongside their hero. For 19-year-old Jose Hernando Arias Noguera from London, that dream has become reality.
Jose is an accordion player whose parents came from Colombia. And now, under the BBC's World Routes Academy, he has been mentored by top Colombian Vallenato accordionist Egidio Cuadrado.
On Tuesday, 31 July they took the stage together at the BBC Proms festival in London.
