Giant atlas on show at British Library

Help

A giant atlas has gone on show at the British Library.

The Earth Platinum reference atlas, one of only 32 copies in existence measures 6ft by 9ft and requires 6 people to carry it.

Each page has to be opened one at a time and to see the map at the end of the book would take around 40 minutes.

David Sillito has been to have a look.
