Music fans have faced difficult travelling conditions after rain turned the Isle of Wight Festival into a mudbath.

About 55,000 people are expected at the three-day event on the island.

Speaking on BBC News, Kevin Arnold who has arrived at the festival site described the boggy conditions. "Paths are thick with mud and come up to over the welly height".
