Tom Jones on his changing voice
Tom Jones has revealed he has lost some range in his vocal abilities since he began his singing career. He told the BBC's Tim Muffett his voice has lowered with age.
He said: "What you lose on the top end, you gain on the bottom end. I used to be able to hit a top C when I was young now it's a B flat."
The singer, who has been busy dispensing words of wisdom to contestants on TV talent show The Voice, has been back to the recording studio for his new album Spirit in the Room.
The BBC's Tim Muffett went to meet him.
