Africa Beats: Christine Kamau
In the fourth part of a series showcasing Africa's musical talent, Christine Kamau performs her song Conversations.
Christine is an afro-jazz trumpeter and composer who hails from Kenya.
She has just released her first album, This is for You, a live recording of instrumental Afro-jazz compositions produced by Cameroon's Romeo K.
Classically trained Christine has been studying music since the age of 11.
She plays trumpet with The Kenya Conservatoire of Music Orchestra and at her local church, as well as with her band African People.
