Site of Ziggy Stardust album cover shoot marked with plaque
A plaque has been unveiled to mark the site of the album cover shoot for 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars'.
The picture of David Bowie was taken 40 years ago, and turned Heddon Street in central London into a rock landmark.
It is only the third time a fictional character has been commemorated in such a way.
David Sillito reports.
