A New York state based physics lecturer, novelist and film-maker has created a new documentary about Burma.

Robert Lieberman had to shoot undercover at times because of filming restrictions imposed by the Burmese authorities.

Talking Movies' Tom Brook looks at the film's attempt to show Burma's history, problems and beauty.

They call it Myanmar: Lifting the Curtain is having a gradual release in the US.

Talking Movies is broadcast on BBC World News on Saturday at 13:30 GMT and is repeated on Sunday at 00:30, 07:30 and 20:30 GMT.
