Whitney Houston was pulled from bath by staff, police say

Whitney Houston was underwater and unconscious when she was found in a bath in her Los Angeles hotel room on Saturday, according to a police statement.

Officials said they would not speculate on the cause of her death until toxicology tests are finished.

Lt. Mark Rosen of Beverley Hills Police told reporters the singer "was pulled from the bathtub" by members of her staff before emergency services arrived.
