Animal art: Exhibition of paintings by apes and elephants

Help

A work of abstract expressionism by a chimp and a still life of a flower by an elephant are part of a new exhibition of artworks created by animals.

The UCL Grant Museum of Zoology in London has commissioned a series of pieces by a gorilla, a chimp, two elephants and an orangutan to question what is and what isn't a work of art.

David Sillito reports.
