One of world's fastest pianists on 'kung fu' technique
One of the world's fastest pianists has been in Britain to promote what he calls "continuous music", a style of playing that creates waves of notes that at some points reaches 19 notes per second.
Ukrainian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk says the sound is the true transcendent voice of the piano.
However, he says acquiring the skill to play at such speed requires you to master your body in the way of a kung fu master.
David Sillito went to discuss kung fu piano with Lubomyr Melnrk.
