Oscar nominations: Live BBC coverage

BBC coverage of the nominations for this year's Oscars, ahead of the Academy Awards ceremony on 26 February.

George Clooney and Meryl Streep are likely to lead the charge in the best actor and best actress categories.

Silent film The Artist and family drama The Descendants are expected to be among the frontrunners for best picture.
